GALLIPOLI

Gallipoli, the Pearl of the Jonio, until the end of last century is one of the most important port of the Mediterranean. In the port of Gallipoli, in fact, they were effected the most greater part of the commercial exchanges of the epoch, in particularly those related to the oil and to the wine, of which the Salento is always a great producer.
